1. Introduction

These terms and conditions constitute the agreement between you and Cheshunt Minicabs. By booking a taxi and utilizing our service, you unequivocally accept the terms and conditions as outlined in this agreement.

2. Definitions

When referencing Cheshunt Minicabs, "we," or "us," it pertains to the service-providing company. "You" and "your" encompass any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.

3. Booking

3.1 To ensure timely arrival, it is your responsibility to allocate sufficient time for the journey, particularly for airport transfers where adherence to flight check-in times is crucial. Any delay due to inadequate time allocation or unpreparedness for collection is not the responsibility of Cheshunt Minicabs.

3.2 Select a vehicle of appropriate size for both passengers and luggage. Cheshunt Minicabs don’t guarantee the accommodation of excessive luggage. A child, irrespective of age, counts as a single passenger.

3.3 Requests for wheelchair access should be made at the time of booking.

4. Prices & Payment

4.1 Our provided quote is based on the information you provide. Unless otherwise stated, prices are exclusive of VAT. Any changes to the itinerary may lead to an alteration in the quoted price.

4.2 The quote includes a 45-minute waiting period post-landing and airport parking costs. Exceeding this waiting period will incur charges at the standard waiting rate. While we endeavor to accommodate flight delays, we aren’t obligated to do so.

4.3 Upon accepting our quote, review the booking confirmation thoroughly for accuracy. Failure to notify Cheshunt Minicabs of any discrepancies absolves us of responsibility for resulting delays or costs.

4.4 Payment methods include cash, credit, or debit card for journeys with us.

5. The Service

5.1 You are accountable for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Charges may apply for any damage or soiling caused to the vehicle.

5.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is prohibited in the car.

5.3 Properly restrain children in the car according to their height, weight, and age.

5.4 Adherence to the specified passenger limit set by licensing or insurance is mandatory.

6. Cancellations

6.1 Promptly contact Cheshunt Minicabs for cancellations. Charges based on driver distance and time will apply for cancellations after dispatch.

6.2 Cancelling before vehicle dispatch via our online system may incur a charge on the original payment.

7. Liability

7.1 While we make every effort for timely arrival, we are not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays. Cheshunt Minicabs will not be responsible for any losses incurred by you or your business.

7.2 Your luggage is carried at your own risk.

7.3 In case of a breakdown, we will arrange an alternative car to expedite your journey.

7.4 You absolve Cheshunt Minicabs from expenses, damages, or losses due to actions or omissions by any member of your party.

7.5 Parties involved cannot exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, or fraudulent misrepresentation according to applicable laws.

8. Termination

8.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any risk is posed to our vehicle or driver due to abuse, violence, or damage by you or passengers. No refunds are provided for terminated journeys.

9. Miscellaneous

9.1 Cheshunt Minicabs may subcontract its obligations as stated. You cannot transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement.

9.2 We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions by updating this page. Review them periodically to stay informed. Existing bookings will follow the rates effective at the time of booking.

9.3 We handle information in compliance with the Data Protection Act of 1988.

9.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Cheshunt Minicabs and you.

9.5 No part of these terms and conditions confers benefits to a third party. Third parties can't enforce rights under this agreement without written consent.

10. Disputes

Disputes or claims must be made within 30 days from the booking pickup date. Claims made after this period won't be entertained by Cheshunt Minicabs.
